Who we are

We are behaviorists committed to “a robust science of human liberation” (Kelly Wilson, ACT co-founder). As a queer and queer-affirming practice, we provide culturally sensitive, holistic care rooted in compassion and evidence-based approaches.

If you’re ready for something different, we’d love to explore whether we’re the right fit—or help you find someone who is. We offer free 15-minute phone consultations. Reach out by phone, email, or our contact page to get started.

Licensed Professional Counselor in MD

My name is Call and I use they/them pronouns. As a queer clinician, I am committed to providing affirming and culturally competent care. Growing up in a military household and being a veteran myself, I've had the privilege of living across the United States and encountering many walks of life. My journey ultimately led me to Baltimore, where I earned my Master's Degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, working in various settings and with diverse populations, I've honed my skills and developed a strong foundation for providing effective care.

In our work together, we will explore new ways of approaching your pain, with the goal of breaking free from unhelpful patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving so that you can be empowered to choose a more fulfilling path.

Alongside my work with individuals, I also offer parent coaching services. Through parent coaching, I aim to help parents better understand the underlying reasons for their children's behavior, enabling them to respond more strategically and effectively.

When not in session, I enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding, reading mystery novels, and playing board games.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker in DC, MD, and VA

Hello there! I’m Christina (she/her pronouns), and I have been a practitioner of DBT since 2018. I am experienced and interested in working with persons of various ages, cultures, and concerns. A Colorado-native, I completed my undergraduate at Middlebury College in Vermont, where I studied Theatre and Arabic. I earned my Master’s in Social Work while living in D.C. from the Catholic University of America. Since 2019, I have had the honor of working closely with Dr. Paul Holmes of the University of Chicago as he has been developing C-DBT as a modality, and I am a contributing author to the upcoming C-DBT group process training manual: From Chronic Distress to a Meaningful Life. I currently serve as president-elect of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ABCS).

I believe in the power of therapy to help people transform their lives - we can do so much more than just reduce your mental health symptoms. In sessions, I balance a playful attitude with a very serious commitment to helping you connect with your own power and wisdom, in order to build a vitally meaningful life. My style is relationship-focused, radically genuine, and informed by ongoing dedication to training and study of the contextual behavioral sciences. Outside of sessions, I am a rock-climber, yoga practitioner, avid reader, and a lover of the arts, plants, animals, wordplay, and cheese.

This is a watershed moment
