About Our
Practice
We are the Watershed Practice. Watershed moments are moments of choice—simple or significant—that shape our lives. Every day, you face countless watershed moments. Life isn’t about any single decision, but about how your decisions add up over time. Creating a meaningful life doesn’t require perfection, just practice. We’re here to help you build that practice.
We provide cutting-edge therapy for real-life messiness.
In our work together, we’ll help you identify the patterns that brought you here, liberate yourself from unhelpful habits, and give you the tools to create a life that’s rich, full, and meaningful. Our goal is for you to leave with increased psychological flexibility, a deeper trust in your inner wisdom, and a sense that you truly matter.
Most people come to therapy wanting to feel better. The paradox? Short-term fixes often lead to long-term pain. When we try to control difficult thoughts and feelings, we lose sight of the things that matter most. Our precious energy goes towards attempting to escape and avoid painful experiences, instead of focusing on building a meaningful life.
While we can’t give you happiness (we wish we could!), we can help you learn how to live well—and with that, you’ll gain vitality, resilience, and the ability to navigate life’s watershed moments, choosing what matters, again and again.

Existential or politically-driven angst and identity questions.
Queer-specific concerns and transition-related issues.
With over 13 years of combined DBT experience, we’re equipped to work with those facing complex mental health challenges, including multiple and conflicting diagnoses. We’re especially skilled at helping individuals who’ve had difficulty finding success in prior therapies, including traditional DBT. We also specialize in wraparound services for teens and their parents. Christina is passionate about working with teens, while Call focuses on parent coaching. Since 2020, we've collaborated on DBT teams, and the success we’ve seen in supporting family systems in crisis inspired us to start The Watershed Practice.
